Do you accommodate food allergies?
  • Yes, you choose the menu and I will prepare it according to your dietary needs.
Can you provide low salt or low fat meals?
  • Absolutely.
Do you use my kitchen and pots & pans?
  • Yes, I cook in your kitchen, using your utensils and cookware. During our initial consultation, we tour your kitchen and I make note of any additional items that I need to bring with me to prepare your meals.
Do you leave dirty dishes in my sink?
  • Never. Part of my service is to clean up before I leave…no mess for you!
Do you come every day?
  • No. We plan a set cook-day and I prepare all of your meals on that day. For example, if you schedule a weekly service on Mondays, I will come every Monday to prepare your meals for that week.
Do I have to go food shopping?
  • No! On your scheduled cook day, I will do all the shopping, choosing the freshest ingredients for your meals. Any leftover ingredients will be yours to keep.
How does this work?
  • Contact me to get the process started. We will schedule a time to meet and review your needs. Prior to our getting together, I will send you a questionnaire to fill out so that I have an understanding of how/what you and your family like to eat (including dietary needs or restrictions). Then during our meeting, we will go over the questionnaire, and take a tour of your kitchen to see where things are kept and if there are additional items I need to bring to prepare your meals. This time will take approximately 30 minutes.
  • Once I know what/how you like to eat, I will send you a menu list to choose from based on your questionnaire answers. I will need your menu choices along with a grocery deposit sent to me 5 days prior to our cook day.
  • A day or 2 prior to your cook day, I will send you a short list of items for you to check for in your pantry and/or fridge to see if you already have them. This is pretty basic…certain spices, condiments, butter, milk…everyday things that I will use to make your meals. No need to purchase things that you already have, right? (unless you don’t have enough or want me to!)
  • On your scheduled cook day, I will go shopping to purchase the supplies needed for your meals, ensuring that they are prepared from the finest and freshest ingredients available.
  • I will come to your house and prepare all of your meals.
  • The meals will be divided into portion sizes of your choice and stored in your refrigerator and/or freezer.
  • I will clean up and leave.
How much does this cost?
  • The price is based on what meal package you choose, and any special requests. Service prices do NOT include the cost of groceries. Please contact me for more information.
Do you accommodate special diets such as vegan, vegetarian, keto etc…?
  • I will work with you to accommodate your dietary preferences.
Do you do catering or dinner parties?
  • At this time I do not offer catering services. I can accommodate small dinner parties of up to 8 people. Prices will vary based on services required (shopping, cooking, serving, cleaning up, etc) and will be done on site, meaning that I will cook and prepare the meal in your home.
Do you offer breakfast and lunch options?
  • Not at this time, but keep checking back to the website as that may change in the future. Currently I only offer dinner entrees/sides…although they CAN be eaten for lunch!
What area do you service?
  • Currently I only serve Gwinnett County GA and Tucker GA
What type of payment do you accept?
  • I accept cash, check, Zelle, and you can also pay by credit card or EFT right from your invoice. I accept DI, VI, and MC.
  • I require a grocery deposit 5 days prior to your scheduled cook day. The remaining balance (total of groceries plus my service fee less the deposit) is due on the day of service. I will prepare an invoice for you while I am at your home, and leave the grocery receipt for you at your request.
Are you certified as a food handler?
  • Yes, I am ServSafe certified by the National Restaurant Association. I will use the utmost care in preparing meals to ensure the health and safety of my clients.
